New Year, New Resolve

  Lots of us make New Year’s Resolutions. We commit to eating better, exercising more, spending more time with family, losing weight and the list goes on. However, for our wonderful MS patients, we are suggesting you test out a new form of New Year’s Resolutions—those that are specific to you and your health needs as a person living with MS. Make sure your health care team is knowledgeable about MS and is staying on top of the new medications available for treatment. Review and make sure your medications are working for you.  Are your attacks under control? Is your MRI stable? Do you feel like you are functioning as well as you were last year?  If not, check with your MS team to see if there is a better treatment option. Recheck your Vitamin D.  Deficiency may increase your attacks and worsens your quality of life.  It may also reduce the number of flu’s and cold you suffer, which can also reduce your risk of an MS attack....
